Hello,

I would like to know which use of modelica do you have? The goal is to better know the Modelica's user on this forum and can ask more accurate question according to the differents modelica's use from everyone. smile.gif

As for me, I'm just getting started with Modelica, I use it in Dymola with the Air-Condtioning library which allows to simulate the automotive air-conditioning loop.

Seen you soon on the forum. wink.gif

Hello jerome-gmc,

I'm using Modelica to build hybrid models for experiments on realtime control systems.

For describing the discrete parts of my controllers I'm using a tool that was designed at my department. With this tool I can automatically build Modelica-models. These models can be directly imported to Dymola.

I'm working with Modelica/Dymola for one year know. I think I have good knowledge about the tool now. Especially the traps in which you can step into. And believe me, there are quite a lot ;-)

A colleague of mine is working on thermal control of buildings. He also uses Dymola with the AT-Plus library which was designed at our department.

I´m using Modelica for the transient analysis of electrical drives. That contains synchronous generators, asynchronous motors, power electronics and mechanical components.
