Hello,

I reply to myself since I have just solved one side of the matter, that one concerning on how it was possible to link three fixerotation elements to the same hub with a 120° delay between two fixedrotations. It is not so difficult: the user (in this case ME) has only to challenge for a while with the length direction of each fixedrotation and finally it works.

At the moment I hope someone could explain me how to joint a flexible beam to its correspective fixedrotation.

Best regards,

Francesco

Hallo Everyone,

I have just started with a thesis work concerning the modeling of a 3 bladed horixontal axis wind turbine.
So far my model is made up of the components described below:

- 1 bodycylinder for the tower;
- 1 revolutejoint linking the tower to the bedplate (z-axis);
- 1 bodycylinder for the bedplate;
- 1 revolutejoint linking the bedplate to the main shaft (y-axis);
- 1 bodycylinder for the hub.

Hitherto It was pretty easy to work it out. However some issues arose on how to model the blades connected to the hub. First of all I would joint the hub to the blades by means of 3 fixedrotations:but each couple of these elements has to be angle delayed of 120deg and I really don't know how to get this kind of connection.
Nevertheless, I even need to link each blade,modeled as a flexible body, to its correspective fixedrotation and It does not seem so easy.
I really look forward to get some tips in order to figure out how to get this model worked.
I thank you in advance.
Regards,

Francesco
